The Khyber Medical University, Peshawar is going to conduct ETEA Medical Entrance Test on Sunday 25th August, 2019 at 08:30 AM for the admission in MBBS and BDS programs in Public and Private sector Medical and Dental colleges for session 2019-20.
Test Centres
The ETEA Medical Entry Test will be arranged indoor in the following seven regions on 25th August, 2019:
- Peshawar
- Mardan
- Malakand
- Swat
- Hazara
- Kohat
- Dera Ismail Khan
The candidates can select any of the examination hall in desired region on first come first serve basis. There is no restriction of selection of a centre as far as the domicile or the examination board is concerned.
Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Merged Area Districts (MAD) can appear in ETEA Medical Entrance Test 2019 for admission in any Public Sector Medical and Dental Institution of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or any Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges around Pakistan.
- Aspirants must have passed Intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group/A-level/12th Grade with Bio sciences securing minimum 70% marks. Result awaiting students can also apply for the entry test.
- Students who want to get admission in KMU Allied Health Sciences Undergraduate Programs must have secured minimum 60% marks for DPT and at least 50% for BS Nursing, Paramedics, Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy in Intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group/A-level/12th Grade can also apply.

Scratch Cards for ETEA Medical Entrance Test
It is mandatory for every candidate appearing in ETEA Medical Entrance Test to get Scratch Card available at different Branches of Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) mentioned in the ad shown above.
Registration Criteria
For registration, every candidate need to enter the Scratch Card number, therefore, it is advised to buy it first and then apply online. You need to have a recent passport size photograph in softcopy form. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, 31st July, 2019.
ETEA Medical Entrance Test Pattern
- The total number of Multiple Choice questions will be 200.
- There will be 80 MCQs from the updated Biology, 60 from Chemistry, 40 from Physics and 20 from English.
- Each MCQ will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.
- The time duration to attempt paper will be 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 Minutes).
- Minimum 60% marks i.e., 120/200 are required to pass the test.
- The question paper will be of different codes in which the sequence of questions will be shuffled up.
Important Instructions
Students need to reach their respective test centres before one hour of test commencement i.e. by 7:30 am. The test centres will be sealed at sharp 8:00 am.
Candidates must remember to take following things with them:
- Original Identity card/NICOP/POC or Smart Card issued by NADRA or Original Passport.
- Printout of Roll no. slip issued by the University.
- One passport size photograph.
- A Clean Clipboard.
- Two blue ball points (pencils, pointers, markers and jell pens are not allowed)
No candidate will be allowed to enter the test centre without Original Identity Card or Passport and Roll no. slip. It is crucial to provide a valid email address and phone number in the Online Application as the SMS and Email alerts regarding allotted Roll numbers and Examination Centres shall be sent to these email addresses and phone numbers.
