Here is What You Need to Know about NUST Admissions through NET-2019
Students who are dreaming to get admission in National University of Science and Technology-one of the few renowned universities of Pakistan, have to clear NUST Entrance Test (NET). Whether it’s engineering or medical courses every student need to score maximum marks in this test.
NUST Entry Test Registration Date 2019
NET-2019 is going to an end with its 3RD and the last series. The registration for the third series will start from 05TH of May 2019 and the last date of registration is 20th of June 2019.
If you have already been registered in the previous series, you can use the same name and password and there is no need to register again.
It also needs to be acknowledged that these multiple tests are conducted so that students can improve their marks till the admission time that is fall. In case of multiple attempts the best test score will be deliberated for admission.
NUST Entry Test Date
The Computer-based test at Islamabad will be conducted from 29th of June 2019 onwards. While in Karachi and Quetta the paper-based test for the third series will be conducted on 13th and 14th of June 2019.
Test Format
There are mainly two formats that can be followed to conduct NET test i.e. Computer-Based Format and Paper-Based Format. The former is conducted only in Islamabad and later is conducted in Quetta and Karachi.
NET eligibility and Fees for 3rd Series
The prerequisite to get registered in 3rd series of NET-2019, the candidates of FA/F.Sc. must have cleared Part-1 of HSSC exam with minimum 60% marks as per equivalence of O levels certificate issued by IBCC. DAE students can also apply for admission in their relevant fields on open merit.
The application processing fees for the entry test is Rs.3000/- or USD 35/- It is worth to note that this fee is not refundable and is valid for the particular test series only.
NUST Entrance Test Syllabus
For NUST entrance test preparation students need to dwell deeper into different subjects related to their academic background. Students preparing for NET are strongly referred to go through all relevant text books of various boards of education and cover all the bases regarding MCQs because this test is Multiple Choice Questions based. Students can go for online entry test preparation offered by different platforms online.
NUST Entrance Test Pattern
The 3rd Series of NET-2019 will consist of five sections including, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English and Intelligence comprising 40%, 30%, 15%, 10% and 5% respectively. There will be 200 MCQs on the board each carrying 1 mark. Here’s a good news for you. You won’t get any mark deducted for any wrong answer.
